In a society that’s hyper conscious about nutrition, we can easily become obsessed with and alienated from what we consume.

Food technology has been distilled into a science and now paradoxically, 'clean living' has become a religion.

In this era of information, food has become both a comfort and a threat.

Our bodies are becoming increasingly mediated as the line between nature, consciousness and artifice is blurred.

In this collection generic vessels from food containers (bottles, jars and bowls) are morphed into the organic forms reminiscent of the body. Straight edges give way into amorphous shapes resembling convoluted rolls of flesh, cavities and undulations of the digestive tract.
